WOYWW 231

Well there I was, still in bed,  at 9am after a busy Tuesday during which I was out all day, earning money, until 10pm. Suddenly it dawned on me that it was now Wednesday and I hadn't done anything to show fellow deskers at Julia's , so you have got a hastily taken pic of my desk with the goodies I bought in The Range yesterday (before my meeting) and some stuff that came in the post.
There are a couple of dies from Dies to dies for, and some free die cuts she sent with the order.
The green die is a holly frame so i am looking forward to using that.
Then there are a couple of Tim Holtz embossing folders and some flower die cuts spilling out of the bag.
Further over are a couple of paper pads, from the Range, that 'I just had to have because they were only £1 each'!!! Well I couldn't leave them there, could I?
On the window sill behind are a butterfly die and some butterflies that I cut out for a card, and then didn't use and the poinsettia and holly dies that I have been using for many of my Christmas cards.
Well I have designated today to make my Christmas puddings and having been out all day yesterday I also have to pretend to be a housewife and do some washing and cleaning, if I can't remember how! I will try to visit when the puds are steaming away gently.
Have a great day
Chris

  2. Oh no you said that dirty word, you are naughty h.......k not for me and I have the attitude if your clothes are dirty and you want them clean wash them yourself. Cool ha! Now onto those puddings, I am still waiting for the wafting smell to come across the big pond to Melbourne in the land down-under. I only eat pudding once a year as I really don't like it, it does have to have heaps of custard and bandy butter on it too. Happy baking and please give up that dirty work, it isn't good for your health.

    Happy crafting

  3. Happy WOYWW. Lovely pile of new stash. I am a new fan of the
Range. Even hubby enjoys walking round there! Only hubby and my mum like Xmas pudding, so I just buy a little one. Ali x #55

  5. Hi there. What a busy lady you have been - needless to say, I have spent the week painting, tidying, re-discovering my house!! Looks like a visit to Bangor just might have to take place soon, that's our nearest "Range" I think. Hmm. Playtime would be good - not sure when...

  6. I made my pictures too this morning, just before breakfast. Days go so fast! Lots of nice goodies on your desk!
Christmas pudding - we don't quite know that here, but isn't that the cake (not really pudding, or is it?) that needs to sit for quite a while, being drenched in alcohol? (And I apologize if I'm terribly wrong!)

  7. I am eagerly waiting for that smell today, and snaffle away only to pleased to assist another person in the creative way especially when they are crafting.

  8. Sounds like the Range was a great stop to get some fun things!Your post made me laugh because I have been so busy that I realized I really needed to get some cleaning done! Maybe you could post about your Christmas pudding? I'm not sure what that is here in the USA. Have a Wonderful WOYWW week! Rasz #102

  12. Great new things on your desk. The Range must be a craft store chain - kind of like Hobby Lobby or Michael's here in the US? Always enjoy visiting to see what others are up to.

    Happy belated WOYWW
    Peace,
    Kay
