Well what a mess my desk is today. Not much has been happening over the last few days even though it should have been. A half day of extreme gardening last Friday left me with a very sore finger and painful back. So all those cards I needed to do before I go away on Thursday are still only part done. I do have another small excuse for the chaos. Like all true crafters I am ridiculously excited by the silliest additions to my craft arrangements. On Monday hubby put a shelf in the cupboard.
Only been requesting it for about 3 years but it has made a huge amount of difference to the storage potential and so things have had to be rearranged, and different boxes sourced to make the best use of the extra space. Behind my Big shot I now have embossing folders altogether and dies are on the right in the transparent box. And there is still room for more. Yeah!
So a closer look at the desk.
A new butterfly embossing folder on the left, another elephant card for a little girl, the beginnings of a card for a friend whose birthday is Saturday and two almost finished cards for posting before we go away.
Happy WOYWW everyone.
Chris.
Hi Chris. Couldn't get to you through the link on WOYWW - so came via my own favourites....
ReplyDeleteOoooo - you got your shelf - well done A!! It all looks so neat and tidy in there - will I ever have time to do my space? Sigh!! Hubby home, so busy looking after him. Will you pop over before you go away?
Love to you - travel safely.

Oh bother your link didn’t work, thankfully you have a return e-mail, but wait a minute if I delete the curious "%20" from the link address - YES made it. Nothing like new boxes for storage eh! AND new shelves made especially to requirements. Oh JOY! Thanks for the visit BJ#2
ReplyDeleteYep. Works this time, Chris. See you when you get back - take care - it's a long way!

Isn't it lovely when we get a new shelf! Good luck with getting it all done before your trip! Thanks for stopping by! Helen #30
ReplyDeleteWell done on being able to have a rearrangement !

I deleted the other link..and as I hit the delete button, I finally realised why it wouldn't work. Typical! Anyway, there was a space between .blogspot and the next . - and you know how the internet hates a space!
ReplyDeleteSorry about your finger..hope it wasn't foolish action with secateurs....(ask me why this problem came to mind) and hope it's better enough soon. Your shelf makes such a difference, I know, I've had a similar experience in the saucepan cupboard recently. It's all glamour isn't it! But it makes a huge difference to be able to flip though dies and folders in the same vicinity of the machine - I have to admit to having 'lost' far less since I put the machine and accessories together! Enjoy your new space!
Oh yes, a shelf is a very exciting piece of news! So many possibilities! My hubby put up two shelves for me a couple of years ago, could do with some more now! I'm with Julia re the secateurs! Had my only visit to A&E because I tried to slice my pinky finger in half from the top down!! That was years ago but it still hurts if I hit it wrong!
