WOYWW 542

I was determined to post this week, so I'm sorry that this pic is from Monday, but what you can see is my haul from a craft show I went to on Sunday.  Margaret came over for the weekend and we went to Sincerely Yours show at Newark show ground.
I mainly bought card, but also a lovely couple of stamps, some gilding wax, blending tools and tapes. It was good to be able to see stuff before buying it, I don't like buying online, but it is either that or the limited choice available in The Range or the high prices of Hobby craft.
This is a later one, I was trying to show you some of the cards I have made, but Flottie was determined to get in on the action . Not a very good picture of him, but at least you get to see a card and a cat.

And a couple of collages of the Christmas cards I have been making.
If you are reading this and have no idea why I am sharing,  got to our wonderful host, the lovely Julia at her  Stamping Ground
where all will be revealed.
Thank you for visiting my desk,  I will try to respond to any comments you make.
Bless you
Chris

  1. I can't believe it! I never saw you and I was at Newark too. It's weird because there was another lady there that I know and I didn't see here either, guess we were all busy with the shopping though it was a bit squashed being in a smaller space than usual. I think Doncaster was better. I have to say though there were some good bargains. Loving the card collection and wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x13x

  2. I thought your Flottie was making a card by putting her stamp on it (paw).
How good that there was a show on whilst Margaret was visiting - nice for you to see some of the goods and almost try before you buy.
Quite a nice collection of Christmas cards there Chris.

  3. Lovely to see you Chris! Looks to me as if you really made the most of the Newark show, and with Margaret at your shoulder being friendly and encouraging...well, you would wouldn’t you! Love the pic of Flottie getting involved...am super impressed that cats seem to have learned that there’s attention to be had when a camera appears!! Beautiful and many cards, well done you.

  6. Fabulous cards and lovely cat :) They always seem to want to sit or lie on something :) Hobbycraft can be expensive and the choice at the Range seems to get better and better.

  17. Great new stash, Chris, and kitties always have to be in on the action! Lovely cards too. Thank you for your visit and I'm so glad you like my completed slippers. Yes, they are definitely to be worn! After all that work, I couldn't just put them in a glass case museum-style! They are nice and warm, and they tinkle so delightfully when I walk in them. I till haven't been for a drive in Katie 2, our new car, but I have sat in her. My hubby has been having all the fun this week!

    Happy belated WOYWW,
