So we aren't having an ATC swap for 11th anniversary of WOYWW. (if you don't know what WOYWW is, visit Madame Julia at her Stamping Ground , where you can find links lots more desks to peruse.)
We are finishing UFOs! That's Unfinished objects for the uninitiated, or as a friend used to call them, unfinished symphonies, which is a term I prefer
part done ATCs, because with lockdown I thought I would be all efficient and get them done early, instead of rushing them at the last minute! Maybe they will do for next year!My usual reason for not finishing cards is because I get so far and then run out of ideas, so between now and next week, I have to find those elusive ideas and finish
them, I hope.
So I dug in the box and selected seven I think I might manage to conjure up inspiration to complete, for next week.
So here they are,
And here
I'll show you next week how I got on.
Bless you all for visiting, have a great day
Chris
I look forward to seeing how those UFOs turn out Chris. I particularly like the one with the leaves. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #11
ReplyDeleteThat is a good idea Chris, I have some of those sort of cards as well, maybe I should finish them off instead of doing what I intended. Wil have to wait and see what I end up doing. In the meantime I will look forward to seeing your finished cards.
ReplyDeleteHope you and Adrian are coping well in this isolating time we are living in.
God Bless you both
Hugs, Neet 3 xx
At least you have a few things to choose from for next week's Show and Tell! I have nothing, zip, nada.....hopefully inspiration will strike sometime over the next seven days, lol! I have no UFOs -JUulia calls me a Finisher, lol!

Love all the effects you have achieved with your cards and the thought of conjuring up inspiration for 7 new cards is quite a job. Wish you lots of inspiration as you stay safe creating.

I am a bit like LLJ, a finisher, I tend not to leave stuff half done (mainly because I only do stuff like journalling and don't leave it - I just don't start stuff at all mainly though! Will see if I get colouring! Helen #1

ReplyDeleteGoing back to your UFO's you may be inspired hope so and waiting to see them next week. Ani #12
ReplyDeleteWell done with the UFOs Chris, and I especially like the leaves - beautiful! Thank you for your visit and I'm glad you like my teddies project - it's turning out to be really fun. As for my UFOs, they are all pretty major and involve far too much work to finish any of them in a week, so I shall try and focus on them as WIPs instead lol!!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,

Oh Chris, we’ll swap ATCs at the Crop, so don’t do anything rash with the unfinished ATC symphonies! I am very admiring of your UFO selections already, my word they look good! And don’t worry about the finishing all of them; the taking part and the fact that we’re actually all getting on with them is starting to feel really good! Stay well. X
ReplyDeleteNow that is commitment! I look forward to seeing the finished object.
ReplyDeleteI haven't a clue as to what I will do ...
Enjoy the rest of the week
Take care and stay safe

I took a photograph of my UFO, which I will confess is almost finished, but as almost finished on some projects, I’ve done fve hours on it already and not done, but further along is a huge plus.. now I’ve my eye on one of this cards, i particularly liked it first glance.. wonder if you’ll do what popped into my mind!!!??
ReplyDeleteLovely idea indeed of Julia’s as unlike LLJ I do have unfinished items, not a lot though.
Thanks for Sharing, and may God bless and keep you safe, and all those you love, hugs Shaz in Oz.x
