WOYWW 624

Hi Woywwers! I'm here for the Anniversary but I haven't managed to create any ATCs. I'm actually finding lockdown, although I know technically we are no longer in lockdown, a time of achieving very little. I have managed the essential cards, but I'm finding it really hard to get motivated to do anything except the essential.

However, my desk: well I took this picture of a typically messy desk, lots of stuff, but nothing very exciting, a couple of those cards that you get so far with and then can't find the right paper to continue, the right colour ribbon or just don't like when it is done. The blue bit at the fron, it a piece I embossed about 5 years ago and still haven't decided what to do with it.

Having shared the boring worktop, I thought I would share the view out of the window behind, unfortunately just as I positioned myself to get a good picture, it started raining, so there are rain drops on the window, but much more important, I have sheep outside my window! Lovely, lovely sheep that remind me of Wales.

And the birds refused to co-operate on the bird feeder for the camera.

Then I looked back at my desk and found I had a visitor there to help me not make cards.

So that's me I am afraid, nothing exciting happening, but I couldn't miss the twelfth anniversary.

Thanks for visiting me, I will try to visit people this week, but it might be rather later that Wednesday.

Bless you all

Chris

Morning Chris. Great to see you this morning. I shouldn't, of course, be here - as I should by now be in Northumberland... going next Monday instead. Yes, your mummy's little helper isn't exactly helping is he ... whoops! Trust you are both ok. Hope you get your mojo back soon. It does seem like the news only ever has one item on it - so I have given up listening!!! It's the only way.
Take care. God bless.

It’s sooo good to see you on the desks this morning Chris and sharing your space with the cat, lol! You made me hoot with the thought of me stamping on the envelopes with my DMs, lol, I might give that a try next time, lolol!
Happy 12th

Like you, Chris, I have trouble getting motivated at times due to the lockdown. In fact, I just recently went out for the first time since March 13, 2020. Talk about stir crazy. I LOVE the look from your window. Much prettier than mine. Happy 12th Anniversary from # 10.

Hi Chris, thanks for your kind visit earlier. Your garden and your cat look lovely. Birds never cooperate, for me either. The weekend we count them for the Great Garden birdwatch, they disappear entirely to some avian black hole. 😼
I’ve jumped around all over the place in lockdown. I’m happy to see if I can help with your crochet pattern if you email me the details and what is troubling you. I’m at Lmcollis@icloud dot com.
Take care and happy WOYWW anniversary

Nice to see you Chris - and your desk - and the view!
Looks as if your visitor is settled and there won't be much crafting done today.
I was wondering, I know it is a long time since the accident, but I was wondering how the arm is - and the rest of you - hope all is well now.
Take care, have a good day
Blessings, Neet 1 xx

Hello Chris - thanks everso much for popping by my blog and for your very lovely comments. Yes, I did make all the work on the walls and the spanners do have a purpose! Due to my tummy troubles I find it hard to sit close to my table so I use the board that I can pull forwards so it hangs over the edge of the table but, of course, if I lean on it tips up. The spanners were my daddy's and I just had to keep them after he died four years ago - the big spanner is so heavy I can't even lift it so it counter-balances the board. I always intended to art-up the smaller spanner but haven't been able to bring myself to so it sits very happily on top of the big one and I always have my daddy close by.

I know just how you feel about motivation during these very difficult times ... my day to day life hasn't really changed much with lockdown as I don't venture out too often anyway but my ability to think and plan and Do Stuff is a struggle ... got all the time in the world but not an ounce of ooomph to achieve much of anything. Saying that though I have kept myself busy with my litte Lockdown Giveaways but the moment they finished I was a bit lost again. As for your absent birdies on the bird table when you want a photograph ... it's a bit like two year olds who will do something until the cows come home until you ask them to do it! Take care, love Debbie xXx

I have to agree with you about the lack of motivation during lock down, mine comes and goes and I'm thankful I managed to make ATC's this week! I love the view from your window - how relaxing to see sheep grazing in front of you as you work. Your little helper looks very relaxed but not very helpful!
Happy 12th Anniversary,
Diana xx #18

I agree with the lack of motivation during lockdown...at the end of the day when I would normally be crafting up a storm I feel distinctly do-less. Loving your little helper curling up like that. So sweet. The view from your window is lovely as well. Happy 12th WOYWW Anniversary. Take care and stay safe. With Love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#15)

Furface is doing a very good job at helping you not make cards LOL! What a lovely view from your window! Yes, I'd absolutely love to swap! I may not be able to send out the second round until later this week, so no rush - we'll have to find a way to get each other's addresses. I'll see if I can find you on FB. Hi Chris, sorry for the late visit. Happy 12th Anniversary! You have a lovely view from your window - I'd be content just sitting looking out. I think many of us are with you on the mojo going AWOL. My craft room has doubled up as my home office for the last 15 months, so I'm reluctant to be in there at the weekend or evenings - even when I pack away my work laptop, it still feels like I'm in 'the office'. So ... around October I taught myself a new skill - crochet - and I've made about half a dozen baby blankets. We have several bird feeders in our garden, plus a couple of feeding stations for squirrels, and our latest visitors - hedgehogs. Mr M is the photographer, and occasionally gets some brilliant shots, but usually they fly off, as yours did. Have a lovely week, and really nice to catch up with you. Take care, Heather xx #20
