WOYWW 565

Morning all.
Sorry this is not going to be my desk, but this is a very brief post to show you the finish card for my nephew.

And a card for my great niece.

And because I know other Woywwer have liked seeing my cat, here's Flottie finding a cosy spot..
After I took that picture,  I was ashamed of all the paperwork that has somehow been dumped, so I moved it all, It is now in a tidy pile ..................
Dumped somewhere else!!,
Well why am I sharing, to join in the community on Julia's Stamping ground
Do pop over and see some more crafty desks.

Sorry Woywwers that I wasn't very responsive last week,  I will try harder this week
Bless you all
Chris

  2. Morning Chris. You decided to post after all. Like your method of tidying up!!:-) I use a similar one. Two great cards - well done. I'm assuming the postman will take them when he delivers? You being so far out from the village, and the daily exercise time not being long enough to walk all the way there and back??
I'm trusting Joy will keep me up to date with Steve's (not your Steve) progress - have you heard any more about him?
Take care both of you. Stay safe. God bless.

  3. Well that’s my point Chris, its either in a pile or loose, but its always somewhere! Although to be honest, until you pointed it out I barely took it in! Flottie has the right idea I must say, despite oversleeping this morning, it’s blimming cold, beautiful ice patterns on the roof lights! But..it’s going to be a beautiful day. On days like this I bet living by the water is a charm. Great job on the cards..isnt it maddening when yo know it needs something but cant make it happen - well you aced it. Very glad the one for your nephew hasn’t ended up in a pile of UFOs! Ive just read Margaret’s comment and it sounds as if you’re a bit off the beaten path...I hope that is isolation enough, very glad you have each other!

  4. The pic of your cat made me smile, they pick the most unlikely places eh? Well done for tidying up all the papers afterwards, I'm not sure I would have done, lol!
    Keep safe and well,

  5. Your cat has the perfect idea .... stay inside make yourself comfortable doing whatever and wait for the home delivered meal. Lovely cards and there is never any blame if you can't visit everyone.... it all works out in the end. Stay safe and keep crafting.

  6. I find rocks anywhere near water and I look particularly for ochre based rocks. They will crush and grind easier than other rocks. I also have a growing collection of rocks just because they look pretty :) My family roll their eyes when I come home from a walk with pockets full of rocks, feathers, leaves and anything else I find fascinating.

  12. Lovely cards but my favourite pic is Flottie - she looks so comfy! I also like your approach to filing - trusting you can't see the new pile? I find that works for a few days!! Stay well, stay safe, Happy WOYWW Cindy #20

  13. Hi Chris, I'm having a rest now as we've just managed to get another set of shelves down from the loft and into the cabin and I've got it all set up so I feel I deserve time to visit a few of my woyww friends. Who knows maybe when all this is over and the cabin is finished I might just be able to have a gang round for some crafty time, that means you too. Nice to see the kitty is doing well and the cards are lovely too. Funny enough I managed to get Des to move loads of bank statements of the coffee table yesterday so you're not the only one that has paper stuff scattered around. Take care and have a happy and creative woyww, Angela x18x

  15. Hi Chris, I have very similar piles of paperwork in nearly every room and you can guarantee what ever I need from it will be somewhere in the middle. Super cards for your niece and nephew. Take good care of yourself & do not worry about getting round us all, we do what we can when we can, it's all about the sharing Tracey #25 x

  16. Hi Chris, I've done exactly the same with paperwork. Eventually it will get filed! I love the windmill thing on your great niece's card .... never thought of doing anything like that, it's quite effective. I rarely get round to commenting on everyone's blog, but I do have a peep at most. We do what we can, when we can. Have a lovely week, and stay safe and well, Heather xx #33

  17. Hi Chris
I love your cards. Is that denim on the top one?
What a cosy place Flottie has found. Looks like she's taken herself to bed. They are such funny animals aren't they?
    Thanks for popping by earlier.
Take care and have a good week

  20. Cats are so funny in the way they find the most obscure places to sleep. My Tabitha used to sit in anything, even a carrier bag once, with her eyes peeking out of the handles.
Two nice cards, I thought the first one was fabric when I came on your blog post at first.
    Stay safe and well
    Hugs, Neet 2 xx

  21. That is typical of a cat if the place had been tidy she wouldn't have slept there. Ani #1
