Quick post today lovely deskers, just to show the finished Robot
And my desk, untouched for four days after I made some cards similar to the ones Shaz Silverwolfwas sharing, but not as good as hers.
And our pot grown Christmas tree looking absolutely beautiful as it puts on new growth
Do go and visit desk Magister Julia at her stamping ground to check out more crafty desks
And this is where I guiltily confess that I am unlikely to be able to do much visiting today as I have a lot of plants to put in the garden, and my sewing desk is loaded with a pile of scrubs bags I promised to deliver tomorrow and they are not finished because I have been helping hubby sort out windows for the new bathroom !! So I will be digging and sewing today, and not snooping on your desks!
See you all Thursday, thanks for dropping in
Chris
good luck with the jobs today and hope you get them all done. the tree does look fabulous in it's pot! Great pile of cards too - they look pretty good t me! Helen '#2
ReplyDeleteMorning Chris. Great robot! Well done. Those other cards you have made are just great. Shaz certainly inspired us all with her cards, didn't she? I have done a load as well! Yours are lovely. The Christmas tree looks so beautiful - I remember it with lights, too. Goodness, doesn't that seems long way back now??? Just think - come Sunday - Midsummer's day, Joy and Duncan's anniversary, it will be all countdown to this Christmas. Oh my!!! Take care as you do all that planting, sewing, reviewing of new windows!!!!!
ReplyDeleteStay safe. God bless.

Hope you manage to get the scrub bags finished Chris. You should have plenty of time if the weather is as bed where you are as I doubt there would be much digging taking place. Great finished robot card. Stay safe and happy WOYWW. Sarah #8.
ReplyDeleteGosh, digging and sewing, what a day! I find the days that I have absolute plans are very productive, but I can while away half a day if I’ve nothing specific to do. I really like the robot card, I bet 5 does too, and I really like the panels that you’ve done a la Shaz, they look great, and a nice number to stash away for future uses!
ReplyDeleteWell done on making the scrubs bags, I must admit I really enjoyed doing mine as well. The robot turned out really well, such a character, and I think your Shaz cards are really lovely, I like the style very much.

Hi Chris, great robot card, and definitely one for me to add to my children's card ideas! That is a gorgeous Christmas tree - pot grown, wow! Enjoy yourself in the garden - I'll be spending most of my weekend there! Well, my garden, not yours obviously. Have a lovely week and stay safe and well, Heather xx #13

ReplyDeleteHi Chris, love that finished robot card. Your "shaz" cards are gorgeous!! Sorry I am so late getting round this week - Have a lovely week. Soojay #27
ReplyDeleteSorry I am so late, had a bad day yesterday and today is not much better as yet. But did have two and a bit days of no pain before.
ReplyDeleteLove your robot card - that will go down an absolute treat. As for your Christmas tree, it is beautiful. We brought one from our other house 20 years ago and it is now massive. Taller than the ancient horse chestnut, but not as beautiful as yours.
Hugs, Neet 6 xx
Love the robot... And the other cards. They look to use a technique I might try. Your Christmas tree looks beautiful... Here in Australia we are just about to plant winter grown veggies. Having just moved from the UK it is quite hard to get my head around the different seasons!
ReplyDeleteHappy crafting!

ReplyDeleteLovely to see the cute little robot finished, Chris, and I love the cards you've made, along the lines of Shaz's ones. Every bit as good - just different!
ReplyDeleteSorry for the late visit - my week seems to have run away with me as I've been busy with other things.
Happy belated WOYWW,
