WOYWW 454

Hi lovely Woywwers, it is ages since I posted, mainly because I have had very little to post, certainly nothing on a worktop on Wednesday. If you are a new visitor to my blog, and have no idea what WOYWW is, please visit the wonderful Julia .
However, I did manage to get access to the dining room table to make a Valentine card for OH on Monday, so I decided I would cheat a bit and show you the making of that.
I had lots of fun with my Pan Pastels making the blue master board, and doing the die cutting whilst he was out, and then I was struggling desperately to assemble it with himself in the room.
You can see, sort of centre, the makings of a birthday card for my grandson, that I had to use as cover for the Valentine's card, every time OH came near the table.

Here you can see both finished item.

(One day I will find out how to make a collage of the pictures so that there isn't so much blank space)
As you can tell from the dining room table, we are still at my daughter's in Doncaster, still waiting for solicitors and our seller to fill in paperwork. Biggest problem remains the issue of the septic tank, whether it complies with regulations.  We had hope to move straight from here, but unless we have something definite by the beginning of next week,  we will be back on the boat by Wednesday.
Thanks for visiting and making lovely comments,  I will return visits but it may not be today.
Bless you all
Chris

Great cards - great to see you "desking" again! hope you get moved and settled soon, without having to go back to the boat - bit nippy still for that I suspect. Helen #1

So good to see you here.
What lovely cards you made, had to smile at how you managed to cover up from DH whilst his card was in the making. Well worth it though as it is beautiful. I too need to know how to collage photos on my blog so know where you are coming from.
Sorry you are not in your new home yet but glad to note you are much better than last time I saw you. May you continue to mend.
Blessings, Neet 2 xx

Hi Chris, lovely to see you back. That's such a pretty heart die that you used for the Valentine's card; love your method of hiding the real work in progress and sorting two cards at the same time. Hope all goes well with the paperwork and that you are in the new place soon. Have a good week. Sarah #14

I'm amazed you can concentrate on making when you're in-between abodes - or is it a welcome distraction?
Happy WOYWW :)

Delightful to see you Mrs D! I know of what you speak when you have to keep hiding stuff under other stuff...it's very bad for the nerves!! Am sort of chuffed that you're well enough to go back to the boat if all else fails; it's exciting, waiting to be given the go ahead! Let us know!

Hi Chris, I can't believe this! I was thinking about you wondering how you were getting on and here you are. I've been out all day, supposed to have been out walking but the weather was so awful that we went to a garden centre and had scones so quite a pleasant day really. Sorry to hear you've not managed to move yet, I've been wondering where you are actually going to be and weather you found somewhere for the boat. Sorry I'm supposed to be viewing your desk! Loving your cards, the heart die cut is gorgeous. Take care and happy woyww, Angela x20x

great looking cards. Hope everything gets lined out and you can get into your house. I am sure you are getting tired of living on the boat etc. A dining room table makes a good craft desk! Have a great week. Vickie #39

Happy Belated WOYWW. I hope you are in your new home soon. We had the opposite experience last year, as sellers of a property. Our buyers kept holding everything up and we were just about to cancel it and rent the house out. I love both of your cards - clever to cover one with the other. Ali x #30
