WOYWW 248

Not much happening on my worktop today, only got back from holiday yesterday and just dumped the craft bits I bought in various places, mainly in Penrith.  There is a beautiful Dream Weaver feather stencil,  a freebie Happy birthday die cutter from a magazine,  another Spellbinder die that wasn't cheap,  some silver ribbon,  peel offs, lots of reels of thread, making bags uses rather a lot, and some knitting wool.
At the back is a part made card that I have to finish for the lady who feeds my pussy cat when we are away. Apart from finishing that I'm not going to have a chance to do much crafting today,  as we have been away I  have loads of ironing to do and other things to catch up. Must get on with it or OH will nag. Maybe I can do some visiting later.
However,  you can take your time surfing through a plethora of good crafty worktops if you go to our host Julia and I will attack the ironing mountain.
Happy Woyww
Chris :)

Spellbinders are not cheap. Indeed, the amount I use them, they probably don't pay for themselves too well. But I buy as prudently as I can, and I haven't bought new ones for ages. Mostly because other makes are available!! I imagine Penrith was lovely then, how nice to be coming home from a break to unpack crafty stuff. Like the threads..pretty colours.

Great new stash Chris, as for the ironing that is one really bad thing to do, you must be careful now, crafting is safer for your health.

Have a great week.

Well, you bought a bit of everything back from your hols! I like that variegated yarn, nice colours.
I'm sending the finished scarf off to be joined into one that's eventually going to be seven miles long, stretched between two nuclear establishments in the south of England. I just read about it and thought I'd join in. After it's taken down, everything is going to be repurposed into blankets and distributed, so it won't be wasted.

Love, love, love that birthday die. And to think it was FREE, my favorite word! Glad you had a good time on holiday. Gosh, I'm sounding almost British, since usually call it a vacation. Happy WOYWW from #1.

Oh some nice goodies there Chris, did you manage to get through the ironing? I haven't been in the garden since January and don't blame you for not going out there at all. Finger is getting better, all the top layer of skin is peeling off either side of the cut now but able to play the harp again thankfully. Thanks for the visit BJ#67

Glad you managed to get some shopping in (important shopping) whilst away in Cumbria. Great to go away but the washing and ironing takes the shine off when you get back - never mind, dream of using those craft things whilst ironing.

Love your shopping - I have the freebie as well, but haven't tried it out yet - looking forward to seeing your makes.
Thanks for your visit earlier - the stamp and flags for St George are yet to meet! I have moved on with the ATCs now ... some have covers!!!
