Well, I am going to try and communicate with you all this week, but have a technical problem in that I don't have a picture of my worktop . One of the disadvantages of having a dedicated studio, separate from the house, is that taking a picture of the worktop, late at night, on Tuesday, which what I am sure most Deskers do, is that I can't just nip out, and take a picture , at least not dressed as I currently am, with the A57 only 20 ft away.
So at least Julia will be happy, this will be very photo light. Instead, as we went to my sister and brother in law, last Friday, for their Golden wedding anniversary party, I will show you the card I made for them.
We had an amazing weekend from Friday to Sunday, they have a huge garden, and the put out tables and chairs and marquees and we had too much food and too much drink, and a really good time.
Just one picture to give you a flavour of the event.
My sister and brother in law under the tree, my niece in red, three great nieces on the carpet, great nephew reading, and my hubby sitting on the left. This was in just one corner of the garden, out of the sun, for the "ceremony", which is another name for Lottie embarrassing her parents.
Well that's all from me, if you want to know why I am sharing, visit the WOYWW queen at Her stamping ground
Thanks for reading my drivel
Chris

What a great photo of the 'ceremony' and how lovely that the weather was so kind to you all. Love the idea of the carpet on the grass - makes a nice sitting area. Reminded me of when my niece was small and she and her friend did a concert for us. Her mum and I kept laughing so in the end the two of them packed up because "I am fed up of Mummy and Aunty not paying attention so we are going". She has two of her own now so forgive me when i cannot remember why we were laughing.
Hugs, Neet 1 xx
ps visions of you in your nightdress/PJ's dashing around with a camera so close to the road. Oh Chris!
Wow, Chris, you’re doing beautifully in the creativity dept, praying you op surgery is on the mend well and truly as you dint mention that at all.
What a lovely garden scene really beautiful indeed. Loveable.. if embarrassing to parents!! 😉

What a beautiful card! And it sounds like a lovely celebration as well! Have a great week, Lindart #23
Gorgeous card. I'm sure they loved it! And nice photos of the party. Dorlene #24
Hi Chris, bet they loved the card. Looks like you all had a good time too and the weather looks nice. I like the idea of the carpet, something nice to sit on. I thought that looked like Adrian on the left. But wondering how you are? The weeds have grown quite high near the road now so maybe no-one will see you walking in the garden in you nightwear Lol! or maybe you will become a tourist attraction! People will go and see the Castle and Cathedral and then take their Binoculars to see if they can get a sighting of Chris who likes to walk along the garden in her Nightwear! What fun! Take care and happy woyww, Angela xXx
That card is stunning and I love the family photo - one to treasure! Take care and have a good week. With love & God Bless, Caro x #12

A gorgeous golden wedding card, Chris, and what a lovely party you all had. Thank you for your visit - sorry to hear you don't like cauliflower! Actually you really don't taste it in this recipe because there's plenty of other stuff going on, and there's a gorgeous dressing on it, too. I'm glad you like my black labels - I thought they were pretty stylish in black! It was an idea I saw online a few months ago, and I bought the roll of stuff then, but have only just opened it up.
Happy WOYWW,

Sorry I’m late Chris! Looks like a fab weekend, I love a family get together, and what a nice way to kick off the celebrations, with a proper ceremony! what an amazing card you made for them, it must have taken days! Had to laugh at the thought of you flitting about the garden in your nightie for the sake of a photo! I often get up early and wonder about in my bed head and nightie till later than I realise...sometimes I only realise when the doorbell rings and the delivery man pretends there’s no fright or sight!!
That's an amazing wedding anniversary card, so I'm sure they loved it. It does look like you all had a lot of fun at the party too. Happy belated WOYWW! #26
